Shipping Policy
UK Delivery
We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for all UK orders.
Orders are usually delivered within 2–3 working days from dispatch. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.
Orders placed after our dispatch cut-off, on weekends, or on bank holidays will be processed on the next working day.
Please note that delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed, as delays with Royal Mail are outside our control.
International Delivery
For international orders, delivery usually takes 3–10 working days from dispatch, although many orders arrive sooner.
All international orders are also shipped with Royal Mail.
Duties and Taxes
Kakaw is based in the United Kingdom.
For orders shipped outside the UK, any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges are the responsibility of the recipient. These charges are not included in the price of the item or the shipping cost.
Kakaw is not responsible for any additional duties or taxes applied by the destination country.
Dispatch Confirmation and Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email. Where a valid email address has been provided, this will include your tracking information.
Delays, Lost Items and Customer Responsibility
If your order has not arrived within 5 working days of dispatch, please check your tracking information first.
If you are unable to resolve the issue directly with Royal Mail, please contact us as soon as possible. Lost items must be reported to us within 7 days of the dispatch confirmation.
Customers may be required to cooperate with Royal Mail’s claims process and/or Kakaw’s internal claims procedure. Failure to do so may affect eligibility for a refund or replacement.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the delivery address provided at checkout is correct. Kakaw cannot accept responsibility for orders sent to an incorrect address supplied by the customer.
Liability
Kakaw is not liable for delays, loss, failed delivery, or damage caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, postal delays, strikes, industrial action, system failures, severe weather, fire, flood, or accidents.
